This head valve (recognizable by its distinctive black cap) works with a highly sensitive mechanism that is only activated by the pressure of the glass:

Stage 1 (internal and external rinsing): As soon as the glass is pressed lightly onto the valve pipe, the water flow opens. The glass is rinsed with fresh water simultaneously from the inside through the valve pipe and from the outside through the ring shower.
